Storm Damage – Dunwoody Home
Storm damage to the roof of this Dunwoody home led to the pictured water damage in the living room. SERVPRO responded on the weekend to place tarps on the damaged roof when called by the homeowner. After assessing the damage and communicating with the insurance adjuster, we began cleaning up the water damage. Once we had the water extracted, we moved to the drying phase of the project using commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid the drying process. While the roof was being repaired, we discovered that the subfloor held too much moisture and we were forced to remove the carpeting to sufficiently dry the subflooring.
