How do I prevent mold from growing after a water loss?

1. First contact SERVPRO of NW DeKalb / Dunwoody / Brookhaven. They have several team members that can come on site and start evaluating the situation and what needs to be done. 

2. To prevent mold from forming it is critical to make sure all of the water is extracted immediately. The longer the water sits, the more likely mold can form. SERVPRO of NW DeKalb / Dunwoody / Brookhaven has the training and experience to make sure all of the water is extracted in a timely manner to limit the chances of mold growing.

3. Drying equipment placed and monitored will help the structure go from wet to dry. Once dry the equipment can be removed and the facility can be inspected.
